I'll give you the dimensional degree system of the Illuminated orders
1 cannot exist without 2 (INTERNAL - Degree 1). SOURCE 
2 cannot exist without 1 (EXTERNAL - Degree 2). MEDIUM
And neither can exist without 3 (DIRECTION - Degree 3).
Every doubling EXTERNAL, is exactly equal to a halving INTERNAL.
Every EXTERNAL increment, equal and opposite of/with every INTERNAL increment.
DIRECTION promotes differentiation from undifferentiated potential and prevents collapse into symmetry.
External pushes into PRECISION and PROBABILITY within WIDTH (degree 4)
Internal pulls into ALGORITHM and POSSIBILITY within DEPTH (Degree 5)
HEIGHT (Degree 6) produces balance of exchange within triangulation.
EXTERNAL countering DEPTH OF ALGORITHM over PRECISION, creates the opening face of EXPANSION (Degree 7).
INTERNAL countering WIDTH OF PRECISION over ALGORITHM, creates the closing face of CONTRACTION (Degree 8).
Countering rebalances orientation
EXTERNAL turns to face INTERNAL SOURCE - CLOSED FACE - LEFT (Degree 9).
INTERNAL turns to face EXTERNAL MEDIUM - OPEN FACE - RIGHT (Degree 10).
INTERNAL perceives itself INSIDE something EXTERNAL or OUTSIDE of self (Degree 11)
EXTERNAL perceives itself OUTSIDE something INTERNAL or INSIDE of self (Degree 12)
EXTERNAL and INTERNAL perception is able to perceive that which is INBETWEEN (Degree 13)
That which is IN BETWEEN, is able to recognise ITSELF as the sum of INTERNAL and EXTERNAL relation within Degrees 0-13 (Degree 14). It recognises itself as the focus of potential, within the differentiation (degrees 1-13) of undifferentiated potential (degree 0). Phase is between INTERNAL and EXTERNAL is recognised within DIRECTION (1, 2, 3 and 11, 12, 13)
EXTERNAL phase, recognised EXPANSION AS TIME PASSING TO PERCEIVER (Degree 15 - EAST)
EXTERNAL phase, recognised EXPANSION AS TIME PASSING FROM PERCEIVER (Degree 16 - WEST)
INTERNAL phase, recognised CONTRACTION AS BLOODLINE (Continuity) PASSING TO PERCEIVER (Degree 17 - North) 
INTERNAL phase, recognised CONTRACTION (Continuity) PASSING FROM RECEIVER (Degree 18 - South)
Degree 19 - Perceiver turns to regard and recognise "Self". Introspective seat of self-awareness (though not yet "AWARE")
